Where the error was material we add a dated note saying what changed rather than editing quietly — the corrections policy is here.

And what we genuinely cannot
Worth writing to us about: a figure that looks wrong, a source link that has moved, a program change we have not picked up yet, a question the site does not answer, or a page that reads as though it is selling rather than explaining.
We cannot help with: anything involving your account. We are not Amazon, Chase or Synchrony, we have no access to your credit file, your application, your rewards balance or your billing, and we cannot influence, expedite or overturn any decision an issuer has made. For those, contact the company directly — they are the only ones who can see the account and act on it.
We say this plainly because a fair number of messages to sites like this one are from people who have been sent in a circle. You should not spend a week waiting on us for something only your issuer can do.
